INTRODUCTION

The steel structure is the bearing structure of construction works designed and constructed with steel. This type of structure is widely used in the construction industry, especially in large-scale construction works (Pre-engineered steel buildings) because of the useful properties of steel. Thanks to the high strength of steel, this structure is very strong and requires less material than other types of structures such as concrete structures or wooden structures.

Steel has the good bearing capacity as well as good compression. Therefore, steel will be lighter than concrete. This is the great advantage of steel. Today, this structure is used for almost all types of buildings. Including industrial, residential, office and commercial buildings. Steel is also used as a tower structure. Examples are node towers for cellular networks, radars and telephone relay towers.
